We all want to feel we are breathing good clean air so we see that demand for air filters and air purifiers is remaining at high levels even with the financial problems people have. We only have one planet and it is a wonderful place but there may be problems that we were not aware of and it is not as great as we expect it to be.

There are millions of tiny little particles in the air all around us made up from assorted debris, dirt and micro organisms and we are all breathing this in all day. You only have to smell the air when there has been no rain for a while and the air smells dirty and you feel there are things in the air that shouldn’t be there.

The cars, taxis and trucks pump out their exhaust gases and it can be at best unpleasant so who knows what the long term effects might be. There isn’t a lot we can do as individuals about the air in our cities but we can try to do something about the air in our homes.

An air filter can clean the air before we breathe it and we could even go further with air filter purifiers and killing micro organisms existing in the air we are breathing. You can have both types of system installed in your home but either one will cause a lot of upheaval and the costs can be prohibitive.

You should look at other options and one might be to make use of mobile and portable air purifiers which can be used around your home in one or more rooms. For most people this would mean you would have them in each room that you use such as living area and bedrooms and since they are usually used at different times.

You can use a single portable unit and you can move it between the rooms either when you go to bed or when you get up in the morning. Most of the portable air filters are designed to be simple to move around and can simply be positioned around your home as required to suit your needs.

We should all be concerned about the significant proportion of our children who sometimes find breathing difficult without understanding why. They have every right to expect to breathe clean and pure air and we should do whatever it takes because we should not stand by unmoved by their problems with breathing. It is worrying that this might be needed but we have to deal with problems and we must overcome it by making sure the air is the best we can make it for them
